27"x29" Framed Charcoal Wild Turkey Grand Slam Subspecies
He's the greatest conservation success story in American history. Native only to this continent, the wild turkey has been leaving his three-toed track in American soil long before we ever did. Each spring, hunters take to the woods, listening for his pre-dawn gobble, chasing his brilliant tailfan from the swamps of Florida to the ranches of south Texas, the hardwoods of Pennsylvania and the Black Hills of South Dakota. These four major subspecies of wild turkey attract the awe and admiration of die-hard hunters from North to South, East to West, obsessed with bagging one of each on their annual turkey tours. These are the Grand Slam Subspecies of the Wild Turkey. Originally created for my Grand Slam Wild Turkey Print, these four original charcoal sketches are available framed as a group, ready to adorn the ultimate hunt camp, man cave or office.
